Housing Representatives are the largest form of representation in Student Senate. These individuals represent their residence areas to Student Senate and are responsible for reporting on housing issues, including facilities problems.

They are also responsible for maintaining a Hall Council, actively communicating with their constituents, coming to General Assembly, and are members of the Senate Housing Committee. They are also required to participate in Dorm Storm toward the end of each semester.

Cabinet members are non-voting members of Student Senate, but play a vital role in the organization. Cabinet members are appointed by the President of Student Senate, and confirmed by the General Assembly, to help carry out the Student Senate President’s vision for our campus. There are 17 positions that make up the Cabinet, ranging from Treasurer and Parliamentarian, to Secretary of Athletic Affairs and Secretary of Campus Improvements.  As a member of the Cabinet, you can have a large impact on our campus.

College representatives are also voting members in Student Senate. These individuals represent their respective colleges to student senate and are responsible for reporting on academic issues.

They serve on the Senate Academic Affairs Committee and are also responsible for actively communicating with their constituents, coming to General assembly, and attending the meeting of another organization each month. Pharmacy and Arts & Sciences each have three three representatives, while Business Engineering, and Law each have two.
