Continuous Achievement Award

 

The Continuous Achievement Scholarship is intended to recognize an individual from each of the four undergraduate colleges at Ohio Northern University.  This scholarship recognizes both their academic efforts and extracurricular involvement.  The scholarship is meant to recognize students who have continued to exhibit successful academic performance from high school into college and have additionally demonstrated a commitment to active involvement in the ONU community.

 

Application Requirements

In order to qualify for this scholarship, students must have:

    • At least Junior Credit Status at Ohio Northern University

    • At least two semesters remaining prior to graduation (including the semester of application)   

    • At least a 3.25 Cumulative Grade Point Average   

    • Continued Contribution to the Ohio Northern community

Continuous Achievement Scholarship Timeline
 

• Applications Due February 4, 2018
• Applications Reviewed February 5-12, 2018
    During this first stage of the application review, Finanical Aid will look up GPA and scholarship awards, and      the leadership statements will be read. *See Selection Process
• Top 4 notified February 13, 2018
    Top 4 applicants will be asked to write a personal statement.
• Personal Statements due February 20, 2018
• Selection Committee receives copies of statements February 23, 2018
    Committee will meet later that week to review the personal statements for the second stage of selection and the Top 2 applicants per college will be decided. Applicants will be notified at this point and interviews scheduled.
• Interviews March 2-6, 2018
    This is the third and final stage of the selection process, and the winner of the award will be decided following the interviews.

 

Recipients of the Continuous Achievement Scholarship will be notified by the end of March 2018

and will have their names printed in the Honors Day Program in April 2018.
